In partnership with Ace Hotel’s Global Artist in Residency (AiR) Program & Superchief NFT, FWB is seeking submissions for a month-long artist residency at the Palm Springs Ace Hotel & Swim Club. For the month of January, the selected artist will live at the property, producing a body of work to exhibit on site for the month of February. Kicking off the exhibition will be a Weekender celebration at the Hotel, final date to be determined. 

Selected open edition works produced during the residency will be minted on Zora and distributed to FWB marketing channels. Mint specifics will be determined with the artist, FWB and Superchief NFT. 

The Open Call occurs over two phases: 

• Open Call submissions period Thursday, October 24 to Friday, November 1

  1. All eligible artists are welcome to submit during the Open Call submission period. 

  2. 10 finalists will be selected by a committee of FWB, Superchief NFT, and Ace Hotel.

• Finalist voting period via Remote Control Thursday, November 14 to Tuesday, November 26 

  1. AiR will be chosen by community selection. 

  2. The artist with the most mints on the Superchief NFT platform Remote Control will be selected for the residency.

TOKEN MIGRATION UPDATE

Crypto is a rapidly evolving industry, with tools advancing in efficiency and scalability everyday. It’s incredibly exciting, and it’s exactly why we proposed updating the FWB token ecosystem from ETH Mainnet to Base L2. As many of you know Uniswap is close to launching a more proven V4. After careful consideration, we are postponing opening the migration to align with the launch of Uniswap V4 in order to set the pair once. We’re still targeting Q4, but the exact date is still to come.
