We’re seeing this play out in World Build, where insights and builder support from the World and FWB ecosystem have converted into 15 Mini Apps with over $6M (and counting) in Mini App funding. Mini Apps are a prime example of cultural applications of emerging technology—which we believe will drive retail adoption. 

We’re cultivating more experiments that push the boundaries of technical capability and cultural possibility through our new program, FWBuilders. FWBuilders is designed to champion builders who move between code, design, infrastructure and culture. (No full-stack resume, no problem! We provide vibe-coding and builder matchmaking resources.)

FEST25 Community Programming Update

FEST25 embraces the tension between predictive systems and unpredictable realities. We invited community members to propose workshops, installations, performances, and activations that explore the alignment—and friction—between models and myths, datasets and dreams, calculation and culture. 

The FEST Team will begin outreach and confirmations on Friday, April 25, 2025. We are grateful to every member who shared their vision.
