What is World Build?

World Build is an immersive incubator program for bold founders to build breakthrough applications for World App’s 30M+ global users. The program opens with a hybrid hackathon, followed by a week-long build retreat in Buenos Aires and ongoing virtual cohort programming.  

Builders get hands-on support from World’s ecosystem and product teams, and mentorship sessions from domain experts and seasoned entrepreneurs. The cohort culminates with a live Demo Day in San Francisco to a curated audience of top tier VCs. Successful projects are eligible for grant funding from World Foundation. The timeline:

Stage 1: Sept Hack – apply now through Sept 24. Hack IRL in SF, online everywhere.
Stage 2 & 3: Oct-Nov Build – fully funded trip to Buenos Aires for hackathon winners & top projects + ongoing virtual programming. 
Stage 4: Dec Demo – fully funded trip to SF for Demo Day.
