On Thursday, February 6 we kicked off the World Build Hackathon at Blockchain Capital’s NYC office, bringing together 50+ hackers and friends from the extended FWB + World ecosystem to build the next wave of breakthrough applications for World's 22m+ users.
During the hackathon, teams leveraged World's unique features like Proof of Human verification and integrated wallets to build innovative solutions across payments, gaming, AI, and more. The result was 40+ final high quality demos, including three standout winners. Hackathon winners and select builders from the FWB & World ecosystems will be joining us for Phase 2: the Residential Build Sprit in Buenos Aires, which kicks off this Saturday.
